Re: gEDA-user: Nvidia-glx-new

I agree with kaimartin, it's not geda related. My 2 cents are that
nvidia-glx-new somehow failed in the recent past the post-removal phase,
and the operation was left pending.
Everytime you run apt-get, even for something completely unrelated it
will first try to sort out any pending operation, and will stumble on
this one.
It should happen even if you try to apt-get something completely
unrelated. Can you confirm this?
I expect an error message before the line you posted, something like:

dpkg-divert: error checking `/usr/lib32/libGL.so.1': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing nvidia-glx-new (--purge):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 2

that may help to assert what went wrong.
In a pinch,if the ubuntu forums aren't useful, feel free to drop me a note, maybe I can point you in the right direction.
Bye

Giuseppe
