It seems wget is failing to get the source for the JPEG library for some
reason.

Please try downloading it yourself by typing
ftp://ftp.uu.net/graphics/jpeg/jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz
in a web browser and saving it in the "sources" directory. You can also
try the "ftp" command directly.
