Nope, 2.65 didn't work either.

I put my minipack with its guile build area here (4.6 MB) if someone
wants to compare with a working build and try to figure out what the
differences are:

Or I'll trade with someone who has a built minipack+guile :-)

Here's the command I used:
tar cf - mpk recipes patches build/guile-1.8.7-2 | gzip -9 > minipack-guile.tar.gz
