This is only an informative message. Noweb (and its tools notangle and
noweave) is not required to build geda from source as far as you are
building from releases (not from CVS). Even from CVS noweb is not
required but that is a different story.

The downloads provided by Ales contains the source files already
tangled (directly make use of .c instead of .nw).

What noweave does is that it extracts information from the source code
to build a nice documentation of the source. If you do not have
noweave installed the source doc will not be produced. That is all.

If you only plan to use geda (and not contribute), you do not need
noweave and the source code documentation. Anyway if you want to
contribute it is probably better to start by checking out from CVS and
make use of noweb.
