Re: gEDA-user: DRC enforcement in PCB is wrong



DRC enforcement uses the ratsnest to determine where it is allowed to go.
Thus you must have the ratsnest drawn in order to make connections in
auto-DRC mode otherwise you will not be allowed to connect (or approach) any
copper that is not already connected to your net. If the rat visibility
bothers you, you can hide the rats layer (but the rats must exist).
