I. too, had to dump sci.electronics.design, more because of the clique
that took it over to discuss politics, restaurants, yard tools, etc.
than because of the spammers (maybe they've become more prevalent
recently -- I wouldn't know).

There were some real stars, though, whom I miss terribly -- Win Hill,
Phil Hobbs, a couple of other guys from physics labs.  Once in a while I
check into it to see if I can stand it, and have to unsubscribe again.

Yes, as long as geda remains the emphasis, and other stuff doesn't take
over, I agree (sez me, who have just contributed to the dilution :-).
