A4 size is defined in the gschemrc file as (11.69,8.27) inches.
Multiplied with 25.38 mm/inch it is (296.69,209.89) mm.

Maybe you can increase the papersize in the resource file to
(11.71, 8.28) inches which is (297.20, 210.15) mm.

Karel, can you try that and let us know whether it works?
