Got some pictures of the parts on their various footprints (board printed on paper)

The question is: should I use the 'M' (max) footprints to make soldering easier, or the 'N' (normal) footprints to make it a more accurate challenge?
I'd use the 'N' footprints. The pad area for a good solder foot is large enough. If you go with the 'M' footprints, you may find that your parts tombstone too easily since the amount of solder on the pad will be great.
OTOH, the 'L' footprints are definately too small.
