So, fellow coders, how and when shall we address them?
1) Effective support for multipage schematics, with a common "layer 0" for
titleblocks and automatic page numbering.
The thought I've had for title blocks is to define a couple of new
attributes (after first checking to see if they haven't already been
defined) called something like "pagenum" and "numpages" and to attach
them to the titleblock. Once those exist, I could write a couple of
scripts to maintain them for me. I did something like this years ago
with the Cadence tools, and added attributes to my off page connectors
as well. Then my scripts could automatically take care of updating
the list of pages to which a off page connector was connected, clean
them up if I decided to move sheets around (numerically), etc..
I'm not sure how this would apply to hierarchical schematics -- they
weren't popular/possible when I wrote my Cadence scripts.
