Does the switching power supply have a transformer? If the transformer was built
with two half-cores the sections can vibrate depending on the strength
of the bond
between the half-cores. Does the frequency change when you change load?
Try going from min load to half load to full load and listen for the
frequency to change.

If it is the transformer the only solution is to replace it or run the
power supply at
higher frequency. Is the output noise within the power supply specification?
