  Please try this version of gftp:
http://www.gftp.org/gftp-test.tar.bz2. This version contains the
latest code that is in CVS. I have been working on closing the open
bugs in CVS. I fixed some problems compiling gftp under Solaris. If
there are still compilation issues, then please file a bug in GNOME's
Bugzilla (bugs.gnome.org).
