When I'm transferring a file from one box to another on my lan using scp or
sftp, it transfers at 2MB/s. But transferring the same file between the
same hosts using gftp in ssh2 mode, the fastest it will go is 1/6th that
speed -- 0.35MB/s.
Why is gftp transferring so slowly?
