[gftp] switching off resume?

Hello!

i am in the process of updating some big photo archive on free.fr and it
unnerves me each time i have to use that ftp server....

it can't resume.... so is there a way to force gftp to only use replace
if the file differs? besides gftp offers to resume files that aren't
resumable (e.g. index.html files that were altered)?

and a wish:
what would be nice is a sort of rsync functionality (those people won't
install one..) means, upload all new and newer files, remove files
that aren't on the local disk
