hi list,
while im not a big fan of guis, im recently tried gftp to copy a bunch
of files via ssh to my local machine, but it's turned out that gftp is
unusable slow. i have a 6Mbit dsl downlink, when i use gftp to copy
files i get 175kbps at max while when i use the commandline client *scp*
i usually get the normal speed of 1.1Mbps. is it probably because gftp
uses ssh as backbone not scp?
yes bandwith limitation was turned out in gftp to 0. i also tried some
high numbers like 100000.
also im using keys for ssh auth so the obligatory login/pass window is
annoying.
regards
zsolt
