Kmail is part of kdenetwork. I break packages only in exceptional
circumstances
and that means Kmail goes in. But the kmail I have does not support
IMAP and
I crashed it when I wanted to change my connection parms.

I am not so convinced about konqueror's speed and there pages it does
not
render. However konqueror is part of kdebase and I it never crossed my
mind
to remove KDE

I will take a look at it, but what I am looking for is a WM who has a
memory
footprint =< to FVM2's. It also needs to be frugal on CPU cycles.
