Modellers
So far the situation for modellers is:
-Moonlight breaks egcs and I don't think the egcs people will be so
eager to fix problems in an obsolete version. Newer versions of egcs
require another uncompatible libstdc++ and that means rebuilding
libraries against it. While it should be possible to build moonlight
and link it statically, it also happens that I am worried about the
status of moonlight. The ISP hoisting it is unreachable (sounds
familiar to some of us) and the author didn't answer my mails. Is
Moonlight dead?
-I have looked at mindseye but it seems to be alpha: it is stated by
the doc and there is no Intall at all: just run it from the
directory.
-Blender is non-free.
Does anyone know about a quarter-decent _free_ modeller?
