RedHat Linux 7.2 with iptraf 2.7

I have a server with eth0, and eth1.  eth1 has several sub-interfaces.

When trying to view eth1, I get:
"Warning: unable to lock general interface statistics on  "
"Press any key to continue"

The end of the warning line is *blank*; eth1 or any kind of
interface name does not show up.

Any ideas?  I'm trying 2.6.1 now...
