I remember starting to write an Extended BASIC version of corewar for
the TI-99/4A back in (roughly) 1982-83. My biggest problem was in
displaying the robots' progress, as I didn't want to get into pixel
manipulation in BASIC. I gave up after I realized that the folks buying
the TIs would likely be completely uninterested in such a game.
