Well, there's the HOWTO HOWTO at
<http://linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-HOWTO-3.html>.  Take a look at some of
the messages toward the end of the September archive at
<http://www.seul.org/archives/seul/edu/>.  There were a _lot_ of
references to DocBook information flying about.
