I have a problem with programs that start with open ;). But I don't
need just another mixer.

What I need is a music player for background music. This shouldn't be
a separate program, it should be build into the executable. We want to
support a pattern/track format (.mod,.xm), this format needs less memory
than the streaming formats. (.ogg,.mp3). And we want support a loosely
streaming format (.ogg) and a lossless streaming format (.flac).

I'm not married with libmikmod, but I haven't found any better 
candidate.
