Excuse, sort of



After downloading and installing Mesa (again) my problems with both
tuxracer and tux_aqfh have gone away. 

I regret using them as examples of hard to make-work software, as they are
not in them selves troublesome. 

I do however still believe that games represent a special kind of OSS that
need a special kind of developers (apart from programmers, artist are
badly needed), and that the "level of entry" into this kind of OSS
development is high for games in general.

based on service and support is ever going to approach the incredible level
