Re: Xlib or die (?)



While I agree Xlib is ugly and you don't need in-depth knowledge of its
inner workings, it does help to have a basic understanding of it. For
example. how the window managers handle the windows etc etc.

This helps you a) choose an appropriate wrapper for the application, and b)
get as much performance as possible.

That's what I think neway...
