Uh, are we talking tools for professionals the model all week long, or are
we talking tools that Linux game developers can pop up and do their
modelling/drawing in for their game? For the former group I can understand
that Blender could be worthwile, I don't think the real heavy duty apps
are too easy to learn either (except maybe 3DS?). But for the latter group
the tool must be easy enough, something like AC3D without its limitations.
If we talk Linux hobby game developers I think the "can use Blender"-ratio
is even smaller, maybe 10%-90%, for the pros it could very well be
reversed. But the pros aren't on this mailing list, nor do they do Linux
games as a hobby.
