NOD lic status

[history for the new-comers] Our license is based on the Netscape Open
Directory license which is a copywrited work.  I contacted Netscape legal
to get written authorization to use their license as a template for our
own.  Netscape legal seemed to think it no problem, but needed to pass it
by their lawyers for approval.  Months have now passed with no final
response from the lawyers.

I emailed my contact at Netscape and the email bounced with "user
unknown".  My guess is Netscape is too busy worrying about their own
internal problems to spend time to deal with us, so I suggest we continue
using our lic until a time comes when we recieve a nasty-gram from
Netscape's lawyers.  (Which we all know will never come.)
