It does sound cool, but there are some things about it that make me
uncomfortable:

1) Small development community (I think just one guy)
2) Untested in production environments
3) New features/bugfixes may require upgrading to new/untested/2.3.x
	kernels.

thttpd is contrastly, actively developed, well tested, and not kernel
dependant.

Reverse proxy probably won't be necessary with thttpd + additional IP.  It
also added a layer of complexity that I wanted to avoid.  I feel pretty
confident that this config will last a good long time.
