Linux KB: Open Invitation IRC Chat

I'd like to suggest that we all meet up on IRC early next week. The first
thing, is that we've grown a lot lately and there are a lot of new
developers who I'm sure don't know each other.

Second, I'd like to set aside some time to allow people to ask Jason,
Daniel, and myself questions about the various projects. Ilya for example
had some thoughts about the mirroring project, and I'd like to address
those and any other thoughts or concerns anyone might have. Does everyone
know what they are supposed to be doing? If you have any questions this
would be the time to ask.

Lastly, I'd like to allow the non-developers who are subscribed to
linuxkb-discuss a chance to meet the developers and voice their thoughts
and opinions. Maybe they have some ideas for furture projects? I don't
know, I just thought it might be kinda cool.

Just so everyone knows ahead of time, I'd like to mention how the Linux KB
has decided to settle disagreements regarding developmental issues or what
the goals/purpose of the Linux KB is (like Ilya's comments about the
mirroring project).

First, everyone is encouraged to speak up and give their opinion. We
don't want anyone censored. We request that you make your comments public
(to the linuxkb-list@seul.org) so all the developers can read it and think
about it.

Second, if a concensus can't be reached among all the developers, the Core
Group (Jason, Daniel, and myself) will vote on it. A majority "wins", and
the debate is considered closed.

Jason and I were thinking starting at 9:30am Eastern (2:30pm GMT) December
5th and running until 11:30 or so. Our goal was to find a time that would
be available for everyone, including those of you in Europe. I hope that
EVERYONE will come, as for this to work we need as many people to show up
as possible.

For those of you who don't already know, SEUL (www.seul.org) provides us
use of their IRC server:

Server: cran.seul.org
Port: 7776
Channel: #seul

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
