I say, whatever you feel comfy with.  Both ways will work equally well
probably... so it's really just a matter of how you want to tackle the
problem.  Whatever's more fun.  :)

I see no problem with the re-use of wget.  If there's a c lib, and it's as
easy, which I doubt, thats great... but using wget seems perfectly fine to
me.  I would investigate what Marc brings up with buffers, since he knows
way more than me anyway :).

Thats my $0.02 anyway...
