Basically the guy wanted one or more of the linuxkb.{org|com|net} domains
Jason got for us.  We invited him to an IRC chat to talk, and he never
showed up.  

You're right it's a total rip.  He just took the LDP and put ht:dig in
front of it.  Lame.  He didn't tweak the LDP at all and so you get about
8x more hits than you should, which makes it virtually useless.

Oh, and for every Oriely book he has a special link so you can buy it
(which I assume he gets a kick back).  Personally, I think a good idea
actually, but the implimentation is all wrong.
