Well I pulled the switch, www.linuxkb.org is now running.  The site is
also indexed by htdig so searches will run.

Jason- I looked into that logout upon search problem and came up empty.  I
think I know the problem.  Since the search page is not "protected",
Apache doesn't set the http auth vars for me to get the user auth info
from.  Wish I had a great idea at a solution, but all I can come up with
is some ugly hacks- none of which I have a chance in hell of getting to
work tonight.  oh well.  We'll talk about this tomorrow?

Also, I just noticed something...  it appears that one of the results of
Marc's hack is that any page that doesn't have a oid in it's URL string,
doesn't get returned as a result.  This is good for the long term, but
will suck until we can get a LDP processor script to make those multi-page
HOWTO's a single page, or assign them individual entries in the DB.

Anyways, if someone freaks out and wants to take the site off-line, login
to yukon and as uid 0 run:

/usr/local/http_www/bin/apachectl stop
/usr/local/http/bin/apachectl start

And that will put up the old site.

Also, we desperately need some bug tracking software (SourceForge?)
available.  We have a LOT OF BUGS.  More than I like, but I'd rather be
live so I don't mind too much.
