I think there are some other options though.  I think we should do it
in-line, except that there shouldn't be a sidebar.  The main reason for
this is that if you send them to another site, htdig won't index it.  I'm
going to update download.pm so that it will re-write tags inside a remote
page so that you won't have broken links inside the page.  Jason, I
recommend you have an autodetection routine that determines the current
host (like www.linuxkb.org or dev.linuxkb.org:81) and sets a varable
$current_host or something and then all links should use this to be
absolute:

http://$current_host/<path>
