First Linux Knowledge Base Developers Conference

Greetings everyone,

I will be hosting the first developers conference for the Linux Knowledge
Base on Sunday, 01-16-00.  The start time is sort of up in the air at the
moment.  My thinking is 12:30?  To those who intend on showing up, lemme
know what suits your schedule.

I know our group is pretty well scattered, and hardly anyone will be able
to attend... but there are a few people in the area, and even a new team
member.  I figure just a couple of us getting together for the day should
be very productive... and hopefully we'll learn a bit :).

It's going to take place at The Networks office in York, PA.  Anyone who
needs direction can get them from me.  I plan on outlining the latest
functions.php3 commit, the changes it entails, etc.  There's plenty of
white boards available, etc. so I'll have plenty of room to draw all kinds
of pretty diagrams representing the way I see things flowing in and out of
the system, etc.

We'll cover in detail anything that any attendee is interested in and/or
working on.  I'll also cover what I'll be doing since I'm going to be done
with functions.php3 (FINALLY!).

I'm counting on at least two people other than myself (Chris Buzby &
Daniel)... anyone else would be a major bonus... but I understand the
whole distance thing :).

As a fringe benefit... the things we talk about and document in an adhock
fassion this meeting will be captured, recorded, and done up in a
formalized way to appear as documentation on our site for future
reference... and so that everyone is able to see the outcome of this
meeting.
