Vodka SCSI messages & my schedule

Well looks like the nightly htdig runs are causing the SCSI driver/card or
something to run out of buffers on Vodka (probably all the DB hits).  I
called VA, but their expert has gone for the day, so i'll call back
tomorrow.

And since the problem seems pretty reproduceable (just run htdig) I might
do some testing with vmstat and iostat to get some info on how the system
is peforming.  I don't know if this will prove to be a problem for go
live- htdig hits the site pretty damn hard, and having near zero
network latency only makes it worse.

Anyways, starting tonight when I get home, the next 3 days I'll be
basically eating, sleeping, and doing LinuxKB.  As you may remember, I was
supposed to go w/ the g/f on a vacation, but well it's obvious that I need
to stay around to do some serious work and get the search forms working
again and what not.  Hopefully I'll have time to finish the
kbmirrormange.pl script, but with these latest issues (SCSI and the
search forms) I stand a good chance of not finishing in time.

I know Jason and Dan finished or have come REALLY close to finishing all
the forms people need to create things.  It would be really nice if we
could finish up the rest of the forms and get people hacking at adding
content for the Expo.  Maybe even emailing all the people who indicated
their interest in the web form?  We can create the use accounts manually
if we have to since the user forms seem to be farther out from finishing.

Well, I need to finish up a few things here at work, and then I'm going
home to hack.  I'll be on IRC tonight and most of Fri-Sun.  (Friday I have
a dr. appt and I promised the g/f I'd spend a little time with her since
I'm postponing the vacation and she's pretty darn pissed.)
