Gary,

First, let me say that I'm forwarding your email to the rest of the
members of our group and we'll be discussing it.  I'm sure many of us will
have some concerns about being paid to work on the site.  All of us have
been very weary about making money off the project, because it tends to
complicate things quite a bit.  We've always planned on not making a dime
off of the site.  Most of us are just looking for a way to help the
community and get recoginition for our work.  However, before we make a
decision, I do think it would be prudent to hear you out.  Your offer may
prove to be interesting.

I know members of our group will be very interested to know which
publisher you're refering to as well as why they may interested in doing
this.  There will of course be concerns about maintaining creative control
over the site.  I'm sure others in the group will have other concerns, but
I'm sure these will be common to us all.

As for more information about us, I'm not sure what exactly you're looking
for.  The web site at http://linuxkb.org/ should provide you with
information regarding who we are, what we're doing, and what our goals
are.  If you could provide a list of questions, I'd be more than happy to
answer them.
