Draft of GEO Table Specs

Table #1
--------
Table #1 of the database, which would eventually contain records for over
5,700 schools from the static version, should have, at the very least, a
unique id field (5 digit numbers--ranging from 00000 - 99999, so that we
wouldn't have to restructure the id # field (or unbounded if that's
possible)), a "name field" for the name of the school, a country
abbreviation field, a field for the link, and (in later development stages)
a field for "linux info" on the school in question.

Table #2
--------
Table #2 would be used to cross-reference the country abbreviation to the
actual name of the Country.  (ex. US --> United States)

Table #3
--------
Table #3 would be used for a user-level password system, with 0 being
"guest" privileges (i.e, additions would be queued for higher user
levels?), 1 would give the user the privilege to add / update information
on the schools in a particular region, and possible do deletions as well;
and 2 would allow administrative access--the ability to add / delete /
modify users, and add, update, and delete information from the database.

Table #4
--------
(fields not defined yet)--would be used for a semi-complete listing of
majors (and which schools offer them).  Table #4 would not be "critical" to
go-live activities.
