More thoughts on Cheek

I've been noticing lately that Cheek has been trying to contact us and try
to establish some lines of communication.  I know that all of us
'old-timers' have few if any nice things to say about him; mostly due to
how he dissed us many months ago when we suggested working together.  I
know many of us think his site sucks for a number of reasons.

Anyways, I was thinking (well it's 1:30am and I'm 90% asleep so "thinking"
might be pushing it) that maybe we should talk to him and see if we can't
work out something.  I don't know what we should try to work out or what
he has that we want.  I know what he wants.  And the reality is our
license allows him to have it.  That's fine; afterall that was the whole
point.

Maybe there's something there worth working out for the good of the Linux
community.

Or we can just ignore him or just tell him to go away.  I know we have a
better model and better technology.  We have more people working on our
site.  And I think we're doing it for all the right reasons.
