The CVS scripts set chmod g+rw and chown .cvs to preserve the integrity of the
commit system.  These should be the only changes CVS makes to the permissions.

What is 755?  I never could get the numbers right, I always use the letters.

If nothing else I can change the permissions manually in the CVS tree.  Let me
know.
