Ok..the 'in the spirit of open source' still bothers me. I've been trying
to lynx my way into some good examples of non-code that is open sourced,
but lynx sucks. I believe the gnu documentation is gpl'ed. Take a look at
http://directory.netscape.com/Computers/Open_Source/Hardware/
Also, I believe OReilly puts out several books under a true open source
license (they were promptly grabbed and printed for cheaper by other
companies, so OReilly didn't repeat the experiment).

I don't have a problem with the new license you've made. I just have a
problem with making a new license. There are a variety of non-viral (Aaron
indicated that he didn't like the viral aspect of the opl/gpl) open source
licenses available.

Anyway, I've had my say and you've all heard me. I'll shut up now. :)
I recommend sending your license to the license-discuss@opensource.org
list for (semi-)official comment, once you've finalized it (and heard
back from netscape, and everything else has come together).
