IRC about Applicants

Hi,

Seems like IRC would be the best way to discuss applicants.  I'm getting quite a
few of them for usertools!  Looks like we have a good Perl/DBI guy (andrewd). 
We should probably try to pull him in.

I say we just try to do this ASAP, whenever we can make it, whoever can make
it.  How does tomorrow during the day sound?  Heck, even tonight.  Perhaps we
could just all get on IRC when we're on the net and see who meets?  3 people or
so would/should be sufficient to let someone in.  I'll get on tonight while I'm
reading LWN.

On a side note, a guy from Linuxcare saw my bio saying that I'm looking for a
cool Linux job, and they may have something for me.  :-)  I actually have a
couple other good leads.  One is in Salem here. www.landscapeUSA.com  They
currently run on NT, but their database (ICat) has been abandoned so they need
to switch to something else.  Had an interview today.  Guess what I tried to
tell him he should switch to!  I think he's almost convinced.  If he hires me
they'll be on Linux faster than you can say "Windows Bites".

Still haven't made those cosmetic changes to the usertools stuff, but it could
happen tonight and/or almost certainly tomorrow.
