That might be a good idea.  Basically, though, all I was doing was
creating a $conn variable for future queries, and if $rolecheck was set,
it would grab the user's row in the Users table and return it as a
$userrow[] array, assuming the HTTP authentication passed.  Really,
that's it.  There was some more crap in the file, but it was mostly just
remnants of other code I wrote and collected, thinking it might be
useful.

Sorry if I've been "out of it" a little lately.  I was of course gone
for a while and then when I got back briefly read most of the messages
and then ended up forgetting much of what I read.

I've been spending some time tonight re-doing useredit.php3 and
userupdate.php3 (the code that's called when you click Submit on
useredit).  Unfortunately I just redid it using the doquery.php3. 
Aaargh.

Once I get this completely perfected and everyone is happy with it, I'll
have a good base from which to do other development.

Hate to say it, but there's another future outage in my schedule.  I
just found out this week that I'm going to Puerto Rico for a couple
weeks next month!  June 12-25 to be exact.  Hopefully we'll be up and
running by then.
