In this letter I hope to provide a breif outline of what our
group has been working towards over the past few months.
Hopefully your group can look this over before the IRC meet on
Sunday so we both have a better understadning of each others
ideas.

How we envision www.linuxkb.org

In short, the hub of linux support.  A place where all
documentation projects can be brought together with a nice, easy
to use interface where searches can return meaningful results.
There will be no daemon sitting there gathering things up and
creating a mountain of useless info.  Anything entered into this
'hub' will be the direct or indirect result of human interaction.  

It would begin a standard article format as well.  Moving
forward, developers of this site and others that sign up as
maintainers can draft these articles, or produce them from other
sources... even if out of the reult of an IRC conversation there
involved in some where that turned out to solve some ones
problem.  Every article would credit it's crator.

We also envision it as an application developers tool.  A place
they can enter error codes, syslog codes, etc. with common fixes.

The most important piece of this project is creating the channel
from which USEFULL information gets into the system.  The easie
and more robust this process is, the more useful the knowledge
base will be.  

The list of possibilities go on.  But for phase one the things
mentioned above are enough.  We've put a lot of thought into the
backend of this and have recently began drafting up the
front-end.  I don't want to get into details in this message as I
just wanted to give you a little insight into our thought process
in order to get the meeting sunday off to a quicker start.  If we
want to move into technical details at that time then great.
