Kernel upgrade

Well in talking to VA, they're saying that the recommend everyone move to
2.2.12-6 which is the latest on their site.  I'm still a bit worried about
the 2.2.x kernel in general though.  Andrea Arcangeli just released
(Sunday) her 2.2.13aa3 patch set which fixed a lot of SMP issues (race
conditions, etc).  From the looks of it, this is the kernel to run, not
VA's 2.2.12-6.

My personal feeling is this:

1)  If it ain't broke don't fix it.  As long as we don't run any heavy
loads on Yukon right now, we should be ok.  This would explain running the
Seti client on Yukon causing it to blow up.

2)  Upgrade to the latest 'n greatest just before we go live.  If things
continue like they have been for the past 3 weeks, a lot of bug squashing
will happen before 2.4.0 comes out in December.  I suggest we wait until
then, and decide what to do.
