That's not *really* a problem here.  I have a notebook, but not with
Linux (and it may not ever have it).

Yeah, that would work.  If you want to build that, I'd use it...  but
don't bother unless someone else wants it.

Actually, the port number would be VERY easily configurable, so I guess
it doesn't really matter...
