Also, you mention "non-GPL products (KDE/qt"...etc

That is bound to upset some people - KDE *is* GPL.  I meant to lump it
into the slightly non-free stuff just because of Qt, and I think I
originally worded it as "free but not totally open source" or something
like that.  That *might* be a better way to put it...

And some of your points under the "goals" section broaden this a little
more than even I had in mind.  And that might be OK....

And you didn't add the programming info back in.  Again, I do think
that's important.  All M$ and 3rd party 'Doze development tool makers
have KBs for their stuff.

Other than that and Roger's suggestions, it looks good.
