I've emailed Red Hat (no response other than the automated "some human
will read your email soon), Debian (no response at all), and SUSE who was
gracious to give us some of Lenz's time.  I also contacted the maintainers
of Slashdot.org, Freshmeat.net, and Linux Weekly News to see if they knew
anyone who might be interested.  The last group I emailed was all the
mirrors of my current site.  So far no solid response from anyone.

There was also one other person who wanted to mirror the RHLUFAQ, but I
turned him down for that, but suggested if he wanted to help this project
to send me some info on himself so we could see if he would be a fit.  
I'll forward his resume to the list for others to see, but I'm not very
optimistic- he has very little Linux experiance and very little web
development experiance.

I've have some specific contacts at Red Hat that I'm going to try, rather
than the generic email.  I should get a response.  If anyone knows a good
contact at Caldera or any other major distro I'm forgetting, let me know.

I think I'm going to take Micah's earlier suggestion and have LWN post an
annoucement that we're looking for people.  I think it would be an
excellent idea if we had a list of requirements that we could post along
with it in order to limit the rash of responses from clueless newbies.  

So far we have: 

Aaron (me)- Site Adminitrator (HTML, Perl/CGI, Ht://dig, some JavaScript
experiance, and the contacts to get the Linux Biz Finder engine, the site
hardware/bandwidth, and the content of the RHLUFAQ)

Micah- Mr. SQL which will work on the indexing/rating system for the
entries.  Also has web dev experiance.

Lenz- More SQL experiance.  Also PHP, Perl/CGI, HTML...  Hopefully we can
convince him to take a web dev role and work on the formatting of the
pages.  Lenz also maintains the offical SUSE FAQ, so maybe we can work out
a deal where we can get some of that content mirrored at our site????

I think if we can get one more web dev person with strong PHP experiance
that should be enough.  A bonus person would be someone to scour the web
looking for content and getting permission from site admins to mirrror
their content on the KB.  What does everyone else think? Anything I'm
missing?
