I've been noticing this for several months. My miniontest stats get worse
and worse so I restart my server and things get better again for a while.

I'm not sure if this is a problem in mixminion or if the problem is deeper
and to do with python or it's run time environment. I've read somewhere that
writing long running applications in Python is a bad thing because of
problems with garbage collection etc.

I've also reduced the maximum number of nodes that my miniontest app uses
(to 4). Unfortunately the box died a couple of weeks ago while I was away
and only got restarted on Sunday so the results are not very meaningful at
the moment.
