 I like all the ideas suggested here, but I think we should write patches
 to the existing pages for now and not wait for a new portal. It will be
 very valuable to get better documentation for operators on the website
 ASAP. And if we decide to open a new portal, we can always move the latest
 content there when it is ready.

 Our usual approach is to open a separate child ticket for each incremental
 improvement.
