I've run into this lately. In a perfect world, I could specify a timespan
via dates to get all known appearances of a relay in the consensus. A few
users have asked for letters of proof that their IP address was likely a
relay for weeks or months at a time. Sending a specific timestamp just
means the police will then add more timestamps to the warrant or charges.
In one case, the relay operator wanted a list of every consensus they were
in for all time.
