 Didn't manage to reproduce this one with the following config:
 {{{
 SocksPort auto
 ControlPort auto

 HiddenServiceDir /home/user/hidden_service
 HiddenServicePort 6667 127.0.0.1:6667
 }}}
 and no network interface.

 I just get "Configuration was valid" and valgrind finishes fine.
