Comment:

 Good idea.  I've merged "bug8387_024" to 0.2.5, and added a diagnostic of
 the type you suggest as 32495ee3099c3fb512a986a8e.

 This is now needs_information for 0.2.5 again.  If the fix _does_ make the
 bug go away, then it should become needs_review for 0.2.4.
