 Alternate idea: We could hack the XUL CSS to remove use of these two media
 queries and make the browser do a reasonably sane thing instead.

 You can find the CSS files by grepping the source tree for moz-windows-
 compositor and moz-windows-default-theme. Their use appears limited to CSS
 files in toolkit/themes/winstripe/ and its subdirs.

 You should even be able to edit these CSS files in a pre-built TBB to play
 around with them until they stop being crazy.
